Possible Custom Jeff Orr Minicocker c.1995-96

I recently purchased this Minicocker off ebay. What struck me on this build was the Chrome played Minicocker body, which I believe was machine by Jeff Orr in the mid 1990s. I actually lost the auction for this Jeff Orr Minicocker the first time around to a zero feedback bidder but won the relisted auction for the same amount.

I messaged Jeff Orr about this Autococker and he couldn’t confirm this was one the bodies he machined, but did state it was a possibility.
Jeff Orr replied, “I can’t say for sure, it is possible though. I usually cut 10-15 custom bodies for each tourney I attended. This one doesn’t stand out for me. Sorry I can’t make a positive ID.”

This Autococker shares a few smaller similarities with confirmed Jeff Orr machined bodies I own, including the oversided square right side pump arm slot and the chrome body plating on the body.

Some of the other Jeff Orr custom Autocockers I own lack serial numbers. Since this is a Minicocker body, it’s harder to make the argument that it was never serialized, since the body could have started as a full body with a serial and then been cut down. I have not removed the front block so I cannot say for sure that this was not a body that was cut down to a mini.

I don’t know it’s origin, but this body was listed on ebay recently from a pawn shop in Orange County, California by the same seller that was selling a left feed Predator Autococker, which made news recently by selling for a very high price and then was relisted and sold just over 2k.

Speculating on the original components, this body likely was sold with WGP parts and later upgraded to Dye components. I will be removing the Dye Components and adding WGP parts back on it.
