Two photos of an Eclipse Sterling I purchased a several years ago. This is my second eclipse Sterling, the other is a splash body with matched barrel.
I’ve seen about 10-15 of these over the years, some completely matching, a few with air lines routed through the frame and some (as was the case with this Sterling) are just the body. About half of the Eclipse cut sterlings I’ve seen have been in Europe and the other half in the states. I’m not sure if Smart Parts distributed these but some of the examples I’ve seen in the states have had matched All American barrels. And of the paintguns I’ve seen in the UK, most Eclipse Sterlings had Jacko barrels.
The pieces that came with the body were all stock Proline/Lada Sterling parts so I stripped it down to rebuild it with different parts I come across. Should be easy to match up since the body is gloss black.
Both of my Eclipse Sterling bodies have raw feednecks. I’m not sure if some Eclipse paintguns during this period (1996-1998) had the feednecks pressed in after the bodies were anodized?
