J&J Performer / JAS (Joilet Army Surplus)/ Hawk kit. Shooting low, chrono'd around 200 fps. Heavy brass nelson body kit. Complete. Purchased locally. Good overall shape but bolt has some rust on it and end of barrel is a little mis shapen. Unique classic though. The particular gun has a long pvc pump handle. The difference between the barrel kits J&J made for JAS and Hawk are that these kits have dual pump arms and have straight rifling (although this kit does not have straight rifling!) and a TAG brass barrel is usually one pump arm and not straight rifling. The tag kits are breech drop and take a standard drop in nelson 007 bolt and the J&J kits take a longer bore drop bolt. Entire bolt is the same bore drop dimension and not the same OD as the hammer. Very cool gun. Some hpa tanks leak when you screw them on. I tested with co2 and it shot around 190-200 fps. Hammer and powertube are stock nelson parts. Bore is probably gigantic. Barrel is 14 inches. No straight rifling in this brass barrel. Frame has holes for wire stock and has notch taken out of it for body set screws.
