12 Gram changers, NSG Rapide Parts, Tippmann Valves and Barrels

Here are some more of the parts that were added to inventory over the last couple months.

12 Gram changer Bucket and Drop outs added to inventory. 12 Gram changer Bucket and Drop outs added to inventory.

A bunch of 12 gram changers which mostly sold pretty quickly.  The bucket changers included two rat attack bucket changers, a CCI changer and a bunch of slow ACI / Brass eagle bucket Changers.

While testing these 12 gram changers I decided to illustrate the drop out with a quick video. I say the drop out speed because I only demonstrating how quickly you can drop the 12 gram out and close the changer, not how fast you can load in another 12 gram.  Sort of limited with what I can do by the way I was testing them and recording with my camera. Still helpful to see how quick the Rat Attack and the CCi changers are compared to the slow Brass Eagle / ACI changers.

As I wrote above, most of these 12 gram changers are already gone but there are a few still available. Find them at http://www.baccipaintball.com/air-bottomlines/12-gram.html

Also pictured are Nelson valve body Challenger Drop out Changers.  These changers are somewhat innovative since they feature a steel wheel with a turning mechanism that cuts down the total turns required to drop out the 12 gram to about a 3/4 turn.

Unfortunately, I've found that they aren't the most reliable.  They are quick though and the turning mechanism can be taken off the Challenger quick change valve body and mounted on a Nelspot 007 grip frame for an in grip valve, and be used as a speed wheel.

Another two downsides of these changers are the plastic exterior which is molded around a steel valve body and the annoying 8x32 valve body screw which has to go in from the bottom of the frame. The screw and the plastic exterior seem to function fine, just not the finish and style I prefer.

More National Survival Games Rapide Parts National Survival Games Rapide Parts added to inventory.

I also broke down and parted out about 3 or 4 National Survival Games Rapides.  A couple had neat (okay I'm lying, crappy) seals made out of squeegee neoprene discs (!) attached to the valve with wood glue.

I can't see how this would ever work as a seal but the video does show a crude representation of how the Rapide's double action functioning worked.

And of course I have to include this video as well, which will get anyone amped up about shooting a Splatmaster or a Rapide.

Tippmann 68 special and smg valves added to inventory. Tippmann 68 special and smg valves added to inventory.

Next up are some Tippmann SMG 60 / 68 and 68 Special valves.  Most are empty but there are a couple with internals.

smg 60 or smg 68 valve A valve for SMG 60s, smg 68s or 68 specials that don't use the C clip.

I started inventorying these but then realized that some have the notch for the 68 special C clip and others don't. The two different styles of valves are pictured above.

Barrels added to inventory in november Barrels added to inventory in October including OTP, Sniper 1 Thompson barrels and more.

And here are some of the barrels that were added a couple months back but never pictured in an article.  Unique items from this batch include the WGP Sniper 1 Thompson barrel (which sold quickly) and the shorty green WGP Minicocker barrel.  According to Paul Schreck there are two versions of the Minicocker barrels.  A 4/5 and a 6/7/8 inch.  The earliest Minicockers used a shorty barrel that barely stuck out of the shroud.  This is the slightly longer barrel.

Trracer, spyder and Nelson Challenger Barrels added to inventory. Trracer, spyder and Nelson Challenger Barrels added to inventory.

And here are a few more barrels included a Bob Long Defiant barrel with the OTP insert still in it.  I would guess that Brahim Estephan and OTP did the machining on these barrels while Jerry Dobbins of ICD was doing the machining for the other Defiant parts (since the Defiant is mostly a rebranded Bushmaster with Bob's frame and cocker barrels (and may other differences as well?).
