AutomaggerIX’s socket driving into a Sheridan Valve tool

AutomaggerIX posted this example of a homemade sheridan valve tool on MCB.  He did a nice job, definitely beats the valve tool I made out of a piece of rebar.

It isn’t threaded to yank the valve out so that’s something to consider when you make the decision to either construct your own or buy one from Palmers or Titus.

I find it worth it to have the threaded end since I end up using that most times when I am pulling the valve out but I do like the idea of a screwdriver style grip.
