The CCM SSR First Strike Rifle with Timothy Kerigan

Yesterday, while playing Pump and Mechanical paintball at SC Village, Timothy “fullofpaint” Kerigan showed us his CCM SSR First Strike Rifle.
I’ve seen photos of these rifles but until seeing Tim’s, haven’t had a chance to closely look one over.

The CCM SSR is a paintball marker developed by Bill “CCMachinist” Holstein, at CCM, designed to shoot first strike paintballs. It uses a magazine fed design, takes AR rifle parts, houses a 12 gram and CCM regulator in the dummy mag back portion, and is bolt action.

There are three versions of this rifle so far:
The first version is bolt action and takes first strike paintballs loaded into the breech inside of large anodized aluminum shells.
The second version (what Tim shows in the video) is bolt action and is able to take a magazine holding 6 first strike paintballs.
And the latest version is a pump action version, which retains the same magazine but can be pumped, instead of operated with a bolt action.
