Automag and Autococker Barrels added to inventory in July 2017

Automag barrels added to inventory in July of 2017. Automag barrels added to inventory in July of 2017.

About 60 barrels were added to inventory in the first half of July, 2017. These consisted of Automag Twistlock, Spyder and Autococker barrels. Some nice examples were added, along with a bunch of junk (which is why you shop on baccipaintball dot com!). Find the Automag barrels pictured at http://www.baccipaintball.com/parts/barrels/automag-agd.html

A really nice looking Automag with serial 17724. A really nice looking Automag with serial 17724.

Here is the Automag that the Boa Snakebite came with. I bought this mag for the neat bottomline on off fitting that someone soldered a plate to. It also has a few other neat aspects but I will cover that in a separate article.

And the batch of Cocker barrels, mostly an assortment of 1 inch (which are actually .990 inch) bull barrels and some other stock WGP barrels (which are actually .940-.945 inch) in width. Find the pictured Autococker barrels at http://www.baccipaintball.com/parts/barrels/autococker-wgp.html

Neat ported stock WGP, reminds me of a Carter Neat ported stock WGP, reminds me of a Carter

From this selection of barrels I picked a few to highlight. First a stock late 1990s WGP barrel that has been polished at the front and had spiral porting added. I can't remember where I got this, only that it was with a few Carter items. I don't know if this porting and polishing was done at Carter Machine, but it looks like it. Still not a great barrel, but it definitely can complete the polished Carter cocker look. Find this barrel at http://www.baccipaintball.com/bar1031.html

WGP STO barrel from a 1998 STO Minicocker. WGP STO barrel from a 1998 STO Minicocker.

Next up is a barrel that came with a STO Minicocker I purchased a while back. I believe this was the stock barrel for both the 1998 full body STOs and Mini body STOs. The actual barrel is, I believe a glued J and J with the WGP logo engraved. Find this barrel at http://www.baccipaintball.com/bar1040.html

Bud Orr was actually telling me a few weeks back (July 1st at the SoCal Stock Game) that WGP had Joe West make later stock barrels for them and I would assume this is one of those.

Right side of 1999 STO Minicocker. Right side of 1999 STO Minicocker.

I originally bought this STO for my collection but the damage to the body was too great so I ended up selling it and will hopefully find a better example in the future (and saving some parts for when I do).

Horrible shape flaking and corroded J and J or Boa barrel Horrible shape flaking and corroded J and J or Boa barrel

Another Autococker barrel getting sold in this batch is one of the worst shape plated brass barrels I've come across. This barrel was likely a Boa or a J & J, but the current state of the finish makes it look like garbage. I think with a hone it'll probably be okay internally but that wont help the outside. This barrel came to me on Brad Nestle's Prince Autococker. While trying to purchase this cocker for several years the owner dropped off the radar for a while. During that time a fire devastated his home and the condition of this barrel might be a result of that?

The Autococker Formally Known As Prince, built by Brad Nestle in the early to mid 1990s (1994/95?). The Autococker Formally Known As Prince, built by Brad Nestle in the early to mid 1990s (1994/95?). Stock and other misc accessories are not shown.

You may ask, should I keep this barrel to go with the Prince Autococker? The answer is probably, but I'd trying to restore it to how it's pictured on the PBMax website, where it is pictured with a Boa Snakebite (which I have a few of). And if I kept every barrel that came with every gun I'd be worse off then I already am.

14 inch Dye stainless 14 inch Dye stainless

And here is a Dye 14 inch stainless barrel that was traded to me last year. I typically sell these for $35 but Benji advised me they are selling for more lately. And thinking about it, all my Dye stainless barrels have sold so I guess he's right. This barrel is 14 inches and according to information from John "Little John" Coleman, it was likely made prior to when Dave DeHaan purchased his first CNC machine and moved it from Orange County down to San Diego. Coleman worked for Dave and Earon and was Dave's first employee making barrels. Coleman helped produce early unmarked Dye barrel for Dave and then later acid etched barrels. Coleman never made cut/CNC Dye logo barrels while employeed. Coleman worked for Dave and Earon until they moved down to San Diego in 1998 (?). And more on Coleman's history here.

Next up is a giant 16 inch Stock WGP Sniper 1 barrel. I can't remember where this came from but it's stock and would look nice on a classic Sniper 1 or any early Sniper or Autococker from to about 1994. I have too many of these super long barrels so this one can be sold off. Find this barrel at http://www.baccipaintball.com/bar1024.html

Marbled Anodized Sniper 1 barrel Marbled Anodized 14 inch Sniper 1 barrel

This neat marbled finish barrel actually resulted from a blem in ano. This 14 inch barrel came recently on a 62 cal sniper that was set up for 68 caliber. I'm parting it out to restore the Sniper to 62 cal. A few of the 62 cal Sniper 1s that I've come across also have blems in the anodizing. I think some of them may have been sold as seconds or parts guns but I am not sure on that. They might even have just been used as rentals? 62 Caliber Sniper 1 barrels. 62 Caliber Sniper 1 barrels.

I guess it's a good thing I didn't sell those 62 caliber barrels I picked up way back. They will go (along with the required bolt) perfectly on this body.

62 caliber Sniper 1 62 caliber Sniper 1

The marbled ano barrel is awesome, but not really something I'll use on anything. I like my barrels to have a little bit of corrosion, just like the guns they are going on and this barrel looks too nice.

Spyder Crownpoint with brass insert Spyder Crownpoint with brass insert

I also uploaded a load of spyder barrels. I don't know who needs spyder barrels anymore. A few of this batch were crown point Spyder threads though. Not sure if these came on Hammers at all, but they are neat. Some of the very early spyders had these, I think the side adjustment screw Spyders did after the Taso style swirl on the end. And here is a PGP that came in with a few Cooper T parts over the last couple weeks. I needed the cooper T parts for project PGPs that are loaners in Northern California so I bought this. It looks great and includes the manual and Sheridan barrel plug. Find this Crosman era PGP 2k at http://www.baccipaintball.com/t1795.html

Green Ize Flex in used but decent shape. Green Ize Flex in used but decent shape.

Here is a Green Ize I found a few months back. I have no idea what these are selling for now so if my price is too high feel free to email me and complain. Find this Flex Ize at http://www.baccipaintball.com/gea1634.html

Blue Ize Flex in used shape with a rip in the plastic. Blue Ize Flex in used shape with a rip in the plastic.

And a Blue Ize. Unfortunately, I didn't know the plastic was ripped when I bought this (would have been nice specimen). Oh well, still neat. Find this mask at http://www.baccipaintball.com/gea1635.html

And the next batch of part uploads will be Autococker frames (mostly junk).
