MSPA Tournament at Slick Fox Adventure Games c. mid 90s

Chuck Link sent me this WBKO 13 Kentucky footage from a MSPA Tournament at Slick Fox Adventure. The clip features Nashville Ridgerunner Chip Herbert and Slick Fox Adventure owner Tad Taylor.

Chuck Link describes this footage as “footage of a MSPA tournament held at Tad Taylor’s Slick Fox Adventure Games in Scottsville, KY.”
Chuck guesses this footage was likely filmed “early to mid 1990’s. There is an interview with Chip Herbert of the Nashville Ridgerunners in this segment, as well as with Tad Taylor.”

Team Slick Fox
Team Slick Fox patch c. early 90s. Slick Fox Adventure Game and Team Slick Fox were both run by Tad Taylor out of Bowling Green, Ky.

Chunk goes on to write:
“The trailer in the background at the beginning belonged to a team based in Birmingham, Alabama, The Headhunters. I believe there may be some interview footage with them as well from that tournament somewhere. They were a great group of guys who wore Rhodesian camo if I remember correctly.”

The Squad patch
The Squad was another MSPA competitor from the mid 90s. This patch came from Chuck Link.

Chuck goes on to talk about his team, Paladin’s, connection to the Headhunters:
“The Headhunters and [another MSPA team] The Death Squad (later knows as just The Squad) were two of Paladin and Music City Hooters’ best buddy teams. We tended to hang out off the field with them, set up by each other, and go dinner and hotels together.”

Thanks to Chuck for sending me this clip.
