Nelson Based Parts Added in October

Another post highlighting some of the Nelson based parts that have been added to inventory over the last month.

Nelson pumps and bodies added at the end of November 2014. Nelson pumps and bodies added at the end of November 2014.

Here is a photo showing some of the pump handles, stock Nelspot bodies, even more Challenger bodies and a few grip frames.

The body from the NW comp that was parted out. The body from the NW comp that was parted out.

A couple of the neat items from this photo are the NW Comp body which came off a beater comp I parted out.  This body is essentially the same as a Carter Comp body. On the very early Carter Comp bodies I haven't noticed a difference.  This body is in bad shape though and the nut that connects the grip frame front screw to the body and goes in the center of the comp linkage is missing.

Find this well worn NW body at:

Nelson pumps and bodies added at the end of November 2014. A NW Comp pump handle.

An early NW Comp's pump handle was also listed in these part.
Similar to early Carter comp pump handles, the version immediately after the comps with the plastic pump, is nearly identical.

Plastic pump handle off an early Carter Comp. Plastic pump handle off an early Carter Comp. Carter Machine pump handles used a larger back portion that pump arms can be attached to.

Both Carter Machine and Nicky Wilson possibly used pumps handles made by Tri Jay machine, but from most that I've seen, Carter Machine used a design with a thicker rib at the breech end, making them not totally symmetrical. This thicker back end allowed the same pump handle to be used on a buzzard since the pump arms would need to screw in and the ribbing at the back could potentially allow areas where the screws would miss the larger OD thickness.

This NW pump handle is listed at http://www.baccipaintball.com/nel1928.html

A PVC pump handle for a nelspot challenger. A cheapo junk nelson pump handle which was made for a Nelson Challenger.

Another neat items from this photo are two Junk PVC pump handles.  These were literally just cut from PVC pipe.  Why am I even posting these?  Well, what if you're stuck in the wilderness for a pump game and you don't have a pump handle.  You can always trim a spare piece of 1 inch Inner diameter irrigation or PVC down.

Nelson grip and sight rail parts added in October 2014. Nelson grip and sight rail parts added at the end of October 2014.

This photo highlights a ton of random pieces for nelsons, including Lapco/Wintec M-16 gripframes, grips, sight rails and misc bolts and powertubes.

This Olive LAPCO grip frame came off an Ex rental pump that I think might have been used at one of Dave Bassman's fields. Find this old lapco rental grip frame at http://www.baccipaintball.com/nel1934.html

Nelspot Challenger Grips added in October 2014. Nelspot Challenger Grips added in October 2014.

Here are a pair of Nelspot 007 grips that were stock on Nelson Challengers and fit the stock 007 frame.  These grips are similar to 007 battle grips but are a slightly softer material.  They also lack the drop out slot and the texturing that the Elite battle grips use. These Challenger battle grips are listed at http://www.baccipaintball.com/nel1932.html

Nelson generic sight rail. Nelson generic sight rail.

I added a bunch of random sight rails for Bushmasters, Razorbacks, and everything in between.  If you have a nelson body and need a sight rail, check your spacing and go from there. Sight rails are available at http://www.baccipaintball.com/parts/pump/nelson/sight-rails.html

Some Nelspot 007 valve bodies, Smart Parts wood grips and Stick feeds added in november 2014. Some Nelspot 007 valve bodies, Smart Parts wood grips and Stick feeds added in november 2014.

And here's a few Nelspot 007 Valve bodies, a neat adjustable Cooper T valve body, two Smart Parts Brown one hole grips for Autococker stock frames, Automag stock frames and Sterling frames. These will not fit Sheridan frames unless you trim the base and possible the interior.
Also, shown in this group is a nice old school T stock, a Carter/NW feed and a couple other copper and brass stick feeds.

A stock 007 valve body with broken piercer. A stock Nelspot valve body with the busted 12 gram piercer. I broke this trying to remove the piercer!

These Nelspot 007 in grip valve bodies came in a load of parts a couple weeks back.  A couple are in decent shape and as usual a few have the piercer busted off.  One of these was my own doing.   Find this busted nelspot stock valve body at http://www.baccipaintball.com/nel1984.html

And other nelspot valves at: http://www.baccipaintball.com/parts/pump/nelson/rear-nelson-valve-assemblies.html

I tried to heat the piercer and unscrew it but of course I got it about 5/8ths of the way out and it snapped off!  What a bummer.  Of well, I'm sure it will still work for someone's project.

The Cooper T asa is neat though.  It's adjustable from the rear asa using a second hole small hole.  The adjuster is a long allen screw with a base on the end that by screwing in, adds more tension to the valve body spring and results in a lower velocity. This is because the added tension on the valve spring will decrease the distance the valve opens when struck by the hammer.

Here is a better photo of the Valve with the adjuster removed. The adjuster looks the same as the adjuster used in Cooper T backbottle for Long Barrel and Short barrel piranhas. Find this cooper T asa at http://www.baccipaintball.com/nel1985.html

Chrome plated NW or Carter stick feed. Chrome plated NW or Carter stick feed with .880 inner diameter.

The Carter or NW style stick feed is polished chrome.  Likely from a Carter or NW pump gun although some thin sheridan direct feed elbows (first generation Annihilators with the long bolt) might be a close match.

The other stick feeds pictured are homemade, one is neat, the other is a little funky. This homemade horizontal stickfeed is at http://www.baccipaintball.com/mis737.html

Also pictured is a classic bottomline stock and a tank cage which looks to have been originally been welded onto a stock but taken off and given a channel to fit a WGP bar/wire stock?
