Russell Breeden Team Strange Mini Sniper

Here is another of the same style Minicockers milled by Russel Breeden.
This mini was turned into a sniper 3 and later anodized Team Strange (Florida) colors. The owner was Robert Peterson, who may have played on Team Strange?

When I asked Robert whether this customized pump was created by John Gross at Florida Paintball Center he replied:

“The gun was done by Russell Breeden of the Doom Troopers around 1990 then anodized Team Strange Colors around 96 or so. I know John well and he did many of our team guns, but not this one.”

This pump also has a dual drilled bolt for restricting / cutting off flow or flipping and boosting your velocity (after chronoing).
The auto trigger is also adjusted for a lower chrono reading if used right.

Robert Peterson, the original owner of this sniper 3/ Minicocker wrote me:
“It has two different size holes in the bolt one for warm weather and one for cold…..or small hole for the crono and big hole for the field…. know what Im saying?”

Robert went onto write:
“The auto trigger is fully timeable to the pump stroke. Set it to go off early and you loose 25 fps. Good if you auto trigger over the crono.”

  1. That is definitely Russell’s work. I’m fairly certain he did the first minis. Most did not have the bolt or hammer windows though. He also did the first one piece 3 ways and made his own rams. Russell’s real job was animatronics. He made the bears dance at Showbiz pizza. Tripod Rob was in fact on strange.
